Who is Peter?

Peter Amundson was elected to the Arcadia City Council on April 11, 2006.

Peter was born and raised in Arcadia. Peter was active as a youth and was his high school’s Varsity Football Captain and high school Student Body President.

After High School he attended the University of California, Los Angeles and earned a degree in Political Science specializing in State and local Government.

Peter Amundson is married and the father of three very active children.

Peter serves his community as a volunteer and Board member of the
Kare Youth League. He is a past member of the Arcadia Beautiful Committee and past President of a local Toastmaster.

Peter is President of Minuteman Transport, Inc., a successful company in the San Gabriel Valley.

He also holds a Pilots License, Certified School Bus license and Class A Commercial License.

Peter Amundson is also a Marksman in rifle and pistol and is a member of Son’s of Norway, a genealogical research organization.
